Junior Uniform (Y9 & Y10)
Footwear
Plain black leather Roman sandals OR plain black shoes. Shoes must be below the ankle bone (fibula), completely black and carry no coloured labels. Platform shoes and boots are not acceptable. For health reasons, students are advised to wear sandals in the summer months and covered in shoes in winter months.

Hosiery
Plain short white or black socks with no labels, or plain black pantyhose OR regulation grey knee-high socks with double maroon bands.
Skirt
Regulation Royal Canadian Air Force Tartan A-line box-pleated. Knee length.
Shorts
Regulation grey school shorts or regulation black dress trousers.
Lavalava
Regulation lavalava.
Shirt
Regulation plain blue short-sleeved polo shirt with Te Puke High School crest. Any clothing worn underneath polo shirts must not be seen.
Jersey and Jacket
Regulation maroon school jersey and school jacket with Te Puke High School crest.
Scarf
A regulation plain navy-blue or black school scarf may be worn.
Hat
A regulation school cap is available. The school cap must be worn with the peak forward outdoors only.
Physical Education
Regulation Te Puke High School PE shirt and shorts.
Jewellery
- A wrist watch.
- Students who have their ears pierced are permitted to wear small earrings.
- No facial studs or rings.
Appearance
- Hair must be neat and tidy and tied back off the face in workshops and laboratories.
- Hair must be a natural hair colour.
- A high standard of personal hygiene is expected.
- Nail polish must be a natural colour.

Formal Dress Uniform
A formal dress uniform is available for Year 13 students to wear as an option to the normal school uniform.
Groups representing the school may also be required to wear the dress uniform.
- Regulation plain black school shoes. Fashion, platform, casual or sports-type shoes are NOT ACCEPTABLE. No coloured labels on shoes.
- White blouse or white business shirt. The shirt must be tucked in.
- Regulation maroon school tie with Te Puke High School crest.
- Regulation knee-length navy-blue A-line box-pleated skirt OR regulation navy-blue/black dress trousers OR regulation lavalava.
- Regulation Te Puke High School blazer.
